Wow, it’s been over two months since I have last blogged.. that is pathetic. I am so behind with all my affiliates, I’m guessing that most of them have deleted me, but I do thank Rafia for keeping me on her affiliates list, I love her new domain you should go check it out. I’ve put up a new layout, do you like it? I thought it was alright, my creativity is getting put into all art that I have been putting on deviantArt.

So, I read Rafia’s current blog and I kinda stole this questionaire from her, just because I can, so here it goes: (I’d also like some affiliates to complete it either in a comment or in your next blog, if you can)

1. Would you rather be a web designer or a webmaster? Webdesigner.
2. Do you think you would like a job in web developing? Not really.
3. How long are you on the computer per day? A long time, at least 3-4 hours.
4. What is your favorite subject in school? Art, definitely.
5. Do you use WordPress? Why or why not? Yes, I use it because Cutenews gave me problems.
6. Ever follow tutorials? Are you stubborn and try to figure it out yourself first? Sometimes, I usually try to figure it out first before reading a tutorial.
7. Do you think validation is important? Yeah I think so.
8. What do you want to learn how to do on Photoshop, or rather any graphic program? Hm, vectors.
9. Is getting a million hits strictly equal to popularity or is there something more involved in that? I think it’s a bit of both.
10. Do you think sites hits are important? Yeah I do, but I think the content itself is more important.
11. Where do you look for inspiration (websites)? Any site that catches my eye and has bright colours usually gives me some kind of inspiration.
12. Does maintaining your website ever get in the way of competing school work? Never.
13. Do you think you’ll have a website for a while? Yeah.
14. Laptop or desktop? Why? Laptop, because it’s portable.
15. Mac or PC? Why? PC, they’re more common and I think that they are more compatible with other products out there.

17. Favorite color combination? I like blue with pretty much anything except orange.
18. Read all your comments? If I have time, usually.

21. Do you skim a lot when reading, especially articles? Yes.
22. What bothers you the most about some websites (Text, Background music, Color quality, Text quality, Hits counter/number of people online, Poor interaction ( do not comment back), Overall organization) Definitely colours that are hard on the eyes, and really tiny fonts.
23. What helps you relax? I love playing Wii.
24. What is the most stressful thing about web design? Nothing really, that’s why I like it, I can do things on my own time, when I want to, there aren’t really any deadlines.
25. Most important technological inventions (2 things)? Definitely my iPod and my HP Pavilion laptop.
26. What did you wish you had more time for? To update my site.
27. What is the coolest thing you know how to do, pretending to web design? I guess PHP, if that is considered cool?

29. Do you think not linking affiliates on every page is fair? When would it be unfair? I think it’s somewhat fair, I don’t really see how it would be unfair.
30. What is your stance on celebrity images? I hate them, it has copyright infringement written all over it.
31. Although they are aware of copyright law, why do you think people use celebrity images anyway? I think that it is simply just another fad, like glittery images once were.

56. What is the most annoying thing? Tiny tiny font.
57. What do you look for when visiting a website? A great layout that is original (no celebrity images), colours that are easy on the eyes, and font that is big enough that I don’t have to squint to read.
58. Your site content a few years from now, how important will it be to you? Not that important, because it sucks to be honest.

Swamped

My apologies for not being able to return comments, and for not commenting on blogs in a good while. I really have not been a great affiliate, and I am really sorry for that. I have been so swamped with school, friends, and just life in general. I’ve had so many projects in the past few days, it has been crazy! I will try to comment within this next week, hopefully.

As for school, I’m starting a new project in art class, 2 point perspective, involving drawing buildings. I’ve also finished a clay cityscape, once it has been fired into the kiln I’ll get a picture and post it on here. I can’t wait to see what it looks like. I just got my report card and did a lot better than I expected, which is good. Parent teacher interviews are also this week, not really looking forward to what a few of my teachers might say about me, aha.

Despite myself being overloaded, I have gotten a colour pallets page up, go check that out if you can.

Short blog today, bye!
